i. bio

QLYPS is an anonymous multidisciplinary artist working through light, material, tension, and disappearance.

Using reclaimed matter, industrial fragments, pulp, wire, sound, shadow, and engineered imbalance, the work exists somewhere between artifact and interruption. Sculptural systems become quiet instruments for reflection, motion, and presence.

Rather than offering explanation, QLYPS builds environments that ask people to slow down long enough to notice what was already there.

The practice avoids permanence, spectacle, and over-definition. Some works illuminate. Some conceal. Most sit in between.

Based somewhere in South Appalachia.
